This has been another spectacular week with Cosmics taking on activities ranging from short to long to ultra long.
SHORT
Tuesday training with Ewen was out & backs on the sloping grassy field at Craigbank, on a nice sunny evening.

LONG
Veronique Oldham, Rory MacPherson, Fiona MacDonald, Richard Lang and Ian Hamilton took part in the tough Ben Rinnes 5 Tops Race from Dufftown Highland Games on Saturday. They will have earned their points for the Cosmic Championship as well as over 1500m of climb each for the Elevation Challenge. No results were available.
Also on Saturday, Kat Lancaster did the 25k at Glen Tanar Trail Running Festival. David Taylor went further in the 55k Ultra Event and finished a magnificent 5th overall.
ULTRA LONG
Tina and Paul McLeod did the Montane Lakeland 50. That's 50 miles with almost 3,000m climb. Tina finished in 15 hours 12 minutes and Paul finished in 13 hours 22 minutes. Meanwhile, Linda Smith was in the Alps doing a more low key but equally gruelling event, the La Thuile Trail Ultra, 70kms and 4000m climb. Linda finished in 14 hours 51 minutes.
There has been great progress on the Cosmic Elevation Challenge and the total is now 464,434m climbed
