From last weekend but arrived too late for the post on 6th July: Ian Hamilton and Andy Chapman did the Saunders Lake District Mountain Marathon coming 8th Veterans in the Score Class.
Jason Williamson completed the Lochaber Triple Hirple 3 race series with Cow Hill on Monday evening - apparently "short but brutal". he was 3rd V50 in Meal an-t Suidhe, 2nd V50 in Half Ben and 2nd V50 in Cow Hill.
There was a good turnout of 11 Cosmics for Kunce #4 on Tuesday evening. It was a little damp but conditions were nice for running and the Garioch Road Runners had done a good job gardening and marking the course. The race was won by Etienne Dick with Kelly Vine-Jones in 3rd playce and 1st female. Rory MacPherson was 3rd male and 4th overall. Richard Lang was 1st M50 and 6th overall. Stuart Ritchie was 7th followed by Fiona MacDonald 1st FV50 and 2nd Female. Kevin Heath was 9th and was 1st MV50. Gillian King, Gary Gutteridge, Tina McLeod and Ian Hamilton finished close together in 19th to 22nd place. Gary was 1st MV70. Anita Hamilton was 1st FV60. Rob Irvine finished in front of Cosmic-blast-from-the-past Derek Johnstone.
Tina McLeod ran the Bennachie Summer Series Race 4 on Thursday evening.

Veronique Oldham ran the iconic Glamaig Hill Race on Skye. It is a SHR Championship Race this year. She was 1st FV60 and 2nd FV50. This race has an amazing scree descent and you finish back at the Sligachan Hotel.
