At the start of the week, we had the excitement of the 3rd Krunce of the season organised by the Comics team of Linda Smith and Tina McLeod with Lyndsay McEwan (Timing), Alan Cormack (First Aid), Richard Lang (Sweeper) and lots of Cosmics as marshals. The race was won by Lucy McLeod with Neil young in 2nd place as first Male and first M40. Kelly Vine was 3rd (2nd F) so it was definitely women to the fore. The first Cosmic to finish was Rory MacPherson in 6th followed by Stuart Ritchie in 9th. Stuart claimed a big PB so the conditions must have suited someone! Annaelle Harris-Logie was 3rd F and Shayne Lilith-Moon had a good run to be 1st F50. Phil Kammer was 1st M70 tied with "Guide" runner Ian Hamilton.

On Sunday, Linda Smith and Andy Chapman initiated the new system for Summer Runs arranged via the Whatsapp group and well done them for conquering the Corbett Carn Ealasaid from Corgaff Castle, a suitably adventurous run.
Also on Sunday, Maria Davis did the Glen Lyon Trail Race 15.5 miles and including 6 (deep) river crossings in a very respectable 3 hours.
After 39 days, the total climbed for the Elevation Challenge was 210,606m - fantastic work everyone! Over the past week, the lead has changed between Colin, Steve, Davie and Marianne.
