This week, we celebrate the fantastic achievements of our three Cosmic teams at the Ochil Hill Relay on Saturday. Team Boidheach (Fair) - Shayne Lilith-Moon, Fiona McDonald, Pippa Samphier and Veronique Oldham, finished in a total time of 3h 38min 38secs and placed 2nd Women's Team - fantastic! Team Astar (Fast) - Kieran Budgell, Iain Campbell, Dennis McDonald and Malcolm Stone, finished just a little faster in 3h 35min 33secs to finish in 8th Open Team. Team Crom far Asail - Ian Hamilton, Gillian Clunas, Andy Chapman and Richard Lang, finished in 4h 30mins 37secs to finish in 9th Mixed Team.
Meanwhile, Alan Cormack, Lyndsay McEwan and Ewen Rennie did Hazlehead parkrun and Louise Provan ran Aviemore.
On Sunday, it was the Inverness Half Marathon. It was a lovely sunny day. Rob Jobling (1h 35mins 35 secs), Alan Cormack (1h 39mins 49secs), Annaelle Harris-Logie (1h 45mins 9secs) and Lyndsay McEwan (2h 20mins 6secs) all took part in the event.
Also on Sunday, Maria Davis, Kay Davies and Andrea Drummond travelled to Cumbria for the Morland Marathon. It was 29 miles of mud, not much heather and 2 footbridge crossings of the M6.
Tina McLeod took part in the Metro Proms 3k on Friday.
There was no Sunday run this week. Everyone was too busy with events but Tuesday training at Duthie Park was well attended and there was a fantastic moon.
