A quieter week for local events.
We had a new venue for Tuesday training (Springfield Road) and managed to dodge the ice and snow.
There were some Saturday parkruns:
Aberdeen Beach - Ally Sutherland
Hazlehead - Kevin Heath, Graeme Lornie, Anita Hamilton, Lyndsay McEwan
Stonehaven - Gary Gutteridge
Glenrothes - Louise Provan
Also on Saturday, Rory McPherson did 80K (50 miles) for a “Backyard Ultra Challenge” Charity fundraiser - fantastic effort, Rory!
On Sunday, Andrea Drummond and Louise Provan ran the Scottish National Cross Country Championships in Falkirk, but for their other clubs. Both had the “privilege” of being lapped by an Olympic medalist (Laura Muir).
