Hello Cosmics

Firstly, thanks very much to Gillian for hosting a brilliant Cosmics Bake off. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to bake, there were some great bakes, some very traditional Victoria Sponges and some with an interesting twist and ingredients not usually associated with Victoria sponge cakes. Well done to Gillian for taking first place and well done to Ewen for some great Carol Vorderman-esque mental arithmetic.

Headtorch run - 6.45pm tomorrow thursday night - see previous email about it and let me know if you are interested in going for food afterwards

Saturday run location is Elsick Mounth - See Gillian's email for directions. Be warned though, i was there on Sunday and the very muddy track section is now snowy, slushy, shin deep and very muddy. And very cold. Trail shoes probably a better option than trainers.

Ellon parkrun

Mike McKay was the only Cosmic running at the short sharp Bishop hill race in Fife finishing in 42nd place in 29.58

If anyone knows of any other Cosmics competing this weekend then let me know and i will include it in next weeks update. At the time of writing the results for the Nairn 10k were not yet available online
