ITERA - Gillian Clunas Reports

Thanks to everyone for following us on the Open Adventure ITERA  expedition race 2019 Scotland. There were 37 teams of 4 people in this 5 day race. Only 2 of the 37 teams involved managed to complete the full course!

In the short course 24 teams managed to stay ranked, team no. 38 Cosmic Hillbashers (Steve Helmore, Jonathan Bellarby, Lynn Smith, Matt Brettle) was placed 23rd out of 24 teams.

For those on the short course who became unranked, team no. 22 Beauties and the Beast (Gillian Clunas, Elaine Stewart, Pauline and Colin Larmour) were 5th out of the 7 unranked teams.......so we completed the course and didn’t come last.

 One of the many highlights was the fantastic route and scenery. The gruelling portaging of our sit the on top kayaks was not one of them!
