Saturday was the D33 Ultra, 33 miles out and back along the railway line from Duthie Park to Banchory and back. This was completed by Nicola Edwards, Tina McLeod and Alan Cormack. Alan's nephew Rory, visiting from Glasgow, also took part in the event; making it his first ultra.
There were some parkruns as well:
Hazlehead - Graeme Lornie and Ewen Rennie
Crathes - Lyndsay McEwan (part of a much longer run)
Glenrothers - Louis Provan
The Cosmic Tuesday training sessions at Hazlehead was well attended and 5 people attended the Sunday run at Kerloch.
Jason Williamson met up with Phil Kammer, who sadly has been recently diagnosed with dementia, for a run. Phil joined Cosmics almost at the beginnin and has completed in many hill races and mountain marathons over the years. He would still like to do long runs but now needs a guide to keep him on track. Of course candidates for this role will have to be quite fast to keep up! Phil may also try some of the Krunce races.
