SAL affiliation – result of poll

April 15th, 2018

Following the poll on the subject of SAL affiliation I can advise you all of the outcome. The email went out to 75 people, including those who had joined in 2017 or 2018. I have received 52 replies, with the breakdown of responses as follows:
•44 votes to remain SAL affiliated
•4 votes to leave SAL
•4 people abstaining
Having discussed this with the committee, it is felt the response is overwhelming enough such that it is clear the club should remain affiliated with SAL following this process and no further consultation/discussion is required.
