Welfare Officer needed

As part of the SAL affiliation requirements the club needs a Welfare Officer, a position Ewen fulfilled until recently. The actual requirements of this role are not onerous but it does require someone who is PVG certified. Please contact Colin Russell if you can help.

SAL affiliation – result of poll

Following the poll on the subject of SAL affiliation I can advise you all of the outcome. The email went out to 75 people, including those who had joined in 2017 or 2018. I have received 52 replies, with the breakdown of responses as follows:

Cosmics Run Garioch

Several Cosmics ran in the 10km and half marathon races at Run Garioch on Sunday 25th March. Special mention to Fiona McDonald who was 3rd lady in the half marathon.

Devils Burdens

Congratulations to the Cosmics’ mixed team who finished 105th out of 151 teams, in a time of 4.35.23

Cosmic battle at New Year’s day race

Three Cosmics battled it out for honours at the annual Netherton Farm 4 mile invitation race. Clyde Williamson retained his title, beating Rob Brookes, with Jason Williamson 3rd.
