Tunnel Ultra achievement

March 13th, 2019

The headline story this week is that Alan Cormack was one of only two finishers out of 31 starters in The Tunnel Ultra. Basically competitors ran up and down a mile long tunnel for approx 200 miles battling sore muscles, fatigue, boredom and hallucinations. Alan finished it in a little over 54 hours. There is no doubt that this is as much a mental feat as a physical one and definitely something that Alan can be very proud of.
Former Cosmic Mike Raffan also raced, calling it a day at a highly respectable 107 miles.
